Place exactly one ♛ in every colored region so that no two queens share a row, a column, or touch — even diagonally.
A placed queen blocks its whole row, its whole column, and the 4 cells touching it diagonally — nothing further away on the diagonal is affected.
Every colored region needs its own queen — one region can never hold two, or zero.
- Click a cell to cycle it: empty → × (your own mark) → ♛ → empty. Use × freely to mark cells you've ruled out.
- The puzzle is solved the moment every region has exactly one legally-placed queen.
